Sisterhood

One of the most important facets of a sorority is the connection and support members gain from friendships with other women. Alpha Phi values and encourages the cultivation of a true sisterhood, which grows through both formal and casual events. When we perform our rituals at Formal meetings, Initiation, preferential parties, and other ceremonies, we renew the traditions that have sustained our sisterhood for more than 130 years.  In addition to these special times, our chapter holds several informal sisterhood events each semester. We enjoy holding events such as our Superbowl Potluck and Game Night.  Members enjoy casual nights at the house catching up on their favorite TV shows.  Sisters also enjoy activities with their Phi Families and celebrating Big Sis and Little Sis week.  The friendships that begin in college as Alpha Phis will continue throughout our lifetime – we will always remember the fun times we spent together in Tuscaloosa!
